You should make sure the garden bench has treated wood so it does not rot and has a long lifetime. You should also look for a well made design with a strong frame. Pick something that suits your home with the correct size and features. Lastly, do you have to build the unit yourself or does it get delivered fully assembled?
First of all, the wooden bench should be delivered to you pressure treated. Pressure treatment stops rot and protects the timber. Second of all, you will need to paint or varnish the unit every few years to protect the unit for a long time.
Wooden benches will last a very very long time… IF.. you look after it. It is actually very easy to look after a wooden bench, you simply must varnish it or paint int once every few years. Thats it!
Ideal storage were fantastic from the first consultation to the final installation. We live in a terraced house and always hated the sight of the bins outside the front of the driveway.
